For this re-recorded reissue of Eighteen Visions’ Vanity, I built completely new artwork around an illustration by drummer Trevor Friedrich: a portrait of his girlfriend at the time that holds happiness and sadness at once.

I carried that idea into the cover lockup, using one shared V to join 18V and Vanity. That overlap pairs large, classic typography with a texture-rich field.

Although the package is entirely new, I retained the original release’s pink color language. Inside, a lyric sheet continues the classic typographic approach alongside a small selection of archival photographs from that era.
