Purgatorio

I art directed Purgatorio as the second released chapter in a planned three-record concept inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Working with illustrator Dylan Smith, I paired his cover illustration with a purple palette, classic serif typography, and additional character symbols for a delicate, technical feel.

The shared art direction extends from Inferno’s red package toward the planned, unreleased blue Paradisio, making the records feel like a coordinated displayable set. Each installment holds six songs; together, the planned eighteen tracks connect to Eighteen Visions and quietly evoke a familiar metal reference.
