I art directed Inferno as the first released chapter in a planned three-record concept inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy. I collaborated with illustrator Dylan Smith on its cover illustration, then built the package around a red palette.

Classic serif typography and additional character symbols give the work a delicate, technical character.

The visual system is designed to carry across all three records: Purgatorio follows in purple, while the planned, unreleased Paradisio will be blue. Each installment has six songs, so the planned eighteen-track set connects to Eighteen Visions and quietly nods to a familiar metal reference. Together, the records are intended to feel like a coordinated set collectors can display.
