I don’t waste time. I build design systems that work, scale, and move teams forward. My focus is clarity, speed, and impact. If there’s a better way to do something, I’ll find it. If there’s a question no one’s asking, I’ll ask it. I’ve led design systems, UX, and ops work across large orgs—and I care deeply about making things that are as beautiful under the hood as they are on the surface.
I believe in MVPs with momentum. In data over opinion. In the discipline of design, not the decoration of it. I'm not here to chase awards. I'm here to solve real problems, deliver value, and learn something I didn't know yesterday. That’s the win.
I think minimalism gets you most of the way there. I think the search for beauty is its own reward. And I think the best work happens when you're confident enough to be humble—and hungry enough to get better every single day.

I work hard during the day so I can walk away without guilt—fully present with my family, my music, and my life. I’m a father, husband, musician, designer, and someone who loves understanding how things are made. My wife Mandy keeps a stack of books next to her coffee. My son Henry is deep into jazz and learning drums. My daughter Evelyn draws every day and builds tiny worlds out of whatever’s around. That’s the kind of house we live in.
When I’m not building product design systems, I’m making music—writing, recording, mixing, and mastering. I’ve played guitar in Eighteen Visions for most of my life, and still do. Although we’re not full-time, we’ve built a lasting following that allows us to release new music, play festivals, and do short tours when the timing is right. I also play in Beyond Repair and DUHKHA. I approach music like I do design: with focus, curiosity, and a drive to keep improving. I care about the details and the energy behind them.
I found design through hardcore. I fell in love with layout and photography by flipping through zines like Maximum RockNRoll and Raygun. In high school, I started my own zine called Endless Tradition. I collected vinyl and still do—not just for the music, but for the whole package: the art, the lyrics, the message. These physical artifacts of underground music were my first design teachers, long before I knew what design even was. That world lit the fuse for the career I’ve built.
I’m a longtime fan of skateboarding—while I don’t skate much anymore, I still love watching it at events or on TV, and I’ve always felt connected to the culture. I follow Manchester United and LAFC, and I dig into Eastern philosophy and UFO history. If I see a film I love, I’ll track down interviews with the director. If something grabs me, I want to understand it. Scratch the surface. Serve a purpose. That’s hardcore—and that’s how I try to live: curious, intentional, and always looking deeper.
